At AstroPet, we are always striving to develop products that make life easier for pets and their owners. To ensure that our innovations truly convince, we had the opportunity to collaborate with the Small Animal Practice Herrenhausen from Hannover. Since spring 2024, the practice team has been testing our products - both in the practice and in their private environment. The positive feedback we have received has motivated us and shown that we are on the right track.

Mercury Series – User-friendly and efficient

The practice team was initially surprised at how easy it was to set up the Mercury Cat Toilet. The practice team said about our Mercury Cat Toilet: “We were amazed at how little you have to assemble, and it was actually almost all self-explanatory. Considering what kind of technology it is, it was super easy for the user.” Especially for less tech-savvy people, it turned out that the toilet, despite the app control, is quite easy to use if you engage with it a bit. After a short acclimatization period, the cat in the practice accepted the toilet without any problems, and the cleaning efficiency compared to conventional cat toilets was felt to be significantly more practical and less time-consuming. The noise development was also praised and described as “surprisingly quiet.” In households with up to two cats, the team considers the Mercury to be very suitable. 

Taurus Series – Practical and reliable

The Taurus Food Dispenser also impressed the practice team. Especially the app and the ability to adjust the feeding time and amount of food was felt to be very practical and user-friendly. In a household where you are often on the go, this dispenser is a real relief because you not only automate the feeding but are also always informed when the dispenser needs to be refilled.

Poseidon Series – The favorite of the animals and the practice team

The Poseidon Drinking Fountain, which was tested both in the practice and in the private environment, was very well received by the team and the animals. Especially the quiet operation and the appealing design of the fountain convinced the practice team. After they tried the Poseidon in addition to a conventional drinking fountain, the animals repeatedly chose the bubbling water. “Our cats and dogs immediately accepted the fountain. Especially our tomcat loves to watch the water bubble and drinks significantly more since then,” reported the practice team.

Libra Series – Ideal for practice and home

Not least, our Libra pet grooming machine was also tested and used in practice. The vacuum is not only incredibly quiet, but it has also proven to be extremely practical in preparing dogs for anesthesia. The team praised the strong suction power and the innovative idea of having hair directly vacuumed during clipping.

Our Highlight - Summer Festival 2024

A special highlight of our collaboration was the invitation to the summer festival of the small animal practice Herrenhausen in July 2024. It was a great opportunity to personally exchange ideas with the entire practice team and pet owners and to present our products directly on site. We had our own stand where we had the opportunity to showcase our innovations and engage in many interesting conversations. It was really exciting to see how positively our products were received by visitors, and we gained valuable insights that have greatly helped us in further developing our products.
